Deaf/Hard of Hearing Services

The Student Access Center (SAC) recognizes the importance of quality real-time auditory access to academic and co-curricular materials. Common accommodations provided include:

  • Sign language interpreting or speech-to-text services
  • FM systems
  • Captioned media
  • Volunteer peer note-takers

For students who need interpreting or speech-to-text services for classes, it is vital for the interpreter coordinator to receive a copy of your course schedule as soon as you have completed enrollment in order to plan appropriate service provision.
